Join us for a dramatization of the night before Jesus’ crucifixion based on Da Vinci’s historic masterpiece. The Last Supper specifically portrays the reaction given by each apostle when Jesus, on the night before his crucifixion, said one of them would betray him. The dramatization, The Living Last Supper, which is based on the painting, brings each disciple to life to share their internal struggles at this critical time. Each apostle speaks of how they came to be followers of Jesus. They tell of their love for him and question whether they are the one who will betray him. In 12 soliloquies we hear the human stories of faith from that momentous night that help us understand the unique relationship of Jesus to each of his disciples. And we gain the opportunity to reflect on our own faith relationship. Don’t miss this moving performance.
