Our parish sponsors two troops which meet on site. The girls do various projects on campus and also purchase, cook & serve our annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. To learn more about our girl scout troops or how you can participate, contact Doris Perry or call the office.
Girl Scout Sunday is celebrated on March 8. Girl Scouts is for girls in kindergarten through 12th grade, and the purpose is to build courage, confidence and character. Scouting also offers opportunities to learn new skills, explore the outdoors, participate in community projects and develop leadership traits. St. Dunstan’s sponsors two Girl Scout troops. Troop 1212, with leaders Meghan Holmes and Karen Guzman, is for girls in grades 8 & 9 and meets on Friday evenings. Troop 2248, with leaders Judy Clink, Karen Zula and Miranda Clink, is for girls in grade 10 and meets on Monday evenings.
